The international community is invited to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations at the 8th International Symposium on Chemosynthesis-Based Ecosystems (CBE8), from 14 June to 18 June 2027 in Horta, Azores, Portugal. This symposium continues a long tradition of bringing together researchers, engineers, students, and stakeholders working on the diversity, functioning, and significance of ecosystems sustained by chemosynthesis. The symposium will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of the discovery of hydrothermal vents. Click the link below for more information, including the seven session themes.
