Hosted by the Earth Journalism Network, this panel discussion – scheduled for 6 or 7 October, depending on time zone – is intended to improve media coverage of the emerging deep sea mining industry. Speakers will shed light on the murky world of deep sea mining, drawing from their experience in science communication, deep sea ecology, ocean policy, the human-ocean relationship, and more. While it’s aimed at journalists, anyone who’d like to learn more about deep sea mining is welcome.
