Welcome to our last Deep-Sea Round-Up before the UN Ocean Conference! Our weekly coverage of deep-ocean news and research will return on July 14th. In the meantime, there’s plenty to see in today’s issue, from research on improving ecosystem-based management to a request for signatures on a declaration by the Alliance of Small Island States. There are also several new opportunities to view, including deep-sea postdoc positions at the University of Western Australia.
