This has been a busy week for DOSI: We start this week’s Round-Up by sharing both the latest issue of Deep-Sea Life and a major report from our Fisheries Working Group. Then, we cover the latest academic developments, including a new acoustic coring system used to find burrowing bivalves in deep-ocean sediments.

Upcoming events to register for include a training in cold-water coral taxonomy, while our opportunities section features a PhD and two new postdocs. Finally, scroll to the end for a video investigating ties between real deep-sea life and the glow squid of Minecraft.
