Deep-Sea Round-Up

This week we celebrated World Ocean Day, and amongst all the ocean content was an announcement worth celebrating from IOC-UNESCO of their endorsement of a number of Ocean Decade actions, including Challenger 150, the 10 year programme of deep-sea biological research. A number of deep-sea papers have been published in the last week, alongside a new report from the Ocean & Climate Platform which features DOSI’s Building Climate Change into Management of the Deep Sea initiative. An important meiofauna survey needs your attention, plus there are new jobs around marine biodiscovery, cold-water corals and the Antarctic. Enjoy!
